Company Codes

A Company Code is a unique identifier assigned to every company in Yeti. Think of it as your company's unique ID within the Yeti platform. It helps Yeti identify your organization and ensures users are connected to the correct company environment.

What is a Company Code?

A Company Code is a unique identifier assigned to every company in Yeti.

Think of it as your company's unique ID within the Yeti platform. It helps Yeti identify your organization and ensures users are connected to the correct company environment.

Why is a Company Code Important?

Your Company Code serves several purposes:

  • Identifies your company within Yeti
  • Allows users to self-register and request access to your company
  • Helps Yeti Support quickly identify your account when providing assistance
  • Enables access between your company and your subcontractors

Because every company has its own unique code, Yeti can ensure users, records, and permissions are connected to the correct organization.

Using a Company Code for Self-Registration

Company Codes are most commonly used when a new user needs access to Yeti.

Instead of an administrator creating every account manually, users can enter the Company Code during registration to request access to the company.

Once the user verifies their email address or phone number, a request is sent to the company for approval. After approval, the user gains access based on their assigned role.
