How do I add a new team member whose phone number or email is already registered with another company in the system?
If you receive a message stating "This user is already on Yeti. Continue selecting the Role, and save it to add them as a user..." when adding a team member, it means their phone number or email address is already linked to an existing profile (usually from a previous employer or subcontractor relationship).
Because their contact info is unique and already verified, you do not need to create a brand-new profile from scratch.
How to add the user to your company:
- Ignore the warning message and continue filling out the user's profile.
- Select the appropriate Role and permissions for them within your company.
- Click Save.
The user is now successfully attached to your account. They do not need a second phone number or a new email address.
How the user switches between companies:
Once you have saved them to your account, the user can easily toggle back and forth between their old company and your company using their single existing login:
- Log into the app or web portal using their standard credentials.
- Click on the current company name displayed at the top of the menu or dashboard.
- A dropdown list will appear showing all companies their profile is linked to.
- Select your company name from the list to view your company's routes, schedule, and information.
