How to Resend an Email or Phone Verification
If a user is unable to verify their email address or phone number, or they need a new verification code sent, you can resend the verification directly from their user profile in Yeti. Once the new email or SMS has been sent, the user can provide you with the verification code so you can complete the verification for them.
Steps
- Navigate to Users in Yeti.
- Search for and select the user experiencing the issue.
- In the Authentication section:
- Click Verify Email to resend the email verification.
- Click Verify Phone to resend the SMS verification.
- Ask the user to check their email inbox or text messages for the verification code.
- Once they receive the code, have them provide it to you.
- Enter the verification code into Yeti to complete the verification.
If the user still doesn't receive the verification:
- Confirm their email address or phone number is correct in their profile.
- Check whether the email landed in their Spam or Junk folder.
- Wait a few minutes before sending another verification code.
- If the issue persists, escalate to the support team for further investigation.
The user receives a new verification email or SMS, provides the verification code, and their email address or phone number is successfully verified.
