What Is a Company Picker
The Company Picker in Yeti allows you to quickly switch between your list of favorite companies, acting as a shortcut to access them. It's especially useful for users who manage or work with multiple companies, such as Clients or Sub-Contractors, helping them save time and stay organized.
Where to View Your Company Picker
You can find the Company Picker at the top right of the Yeti platform. Select it to open it up.
How to Add a Company to the Picker
Companies appear in your picker when they are starred. A company can be starred in several ways:
1. Default Favorite on Sign-Up
When you sign up for Yeti, your own company is automatically starred. This ensures easy access back to your own environment.
2. Automatically Starred When Created
Any Client or Sub-Contractor you create is automatically added to your favorites.
The picker will show whether the company is a Client or a Sub-Contractor.
3. Manually Star a Company
You can manually star a company by clicking the ⭐ Star icon next to its name on the Client or Sub-Contractor page.
Notes About Access
Starred companies will not appear in the Company Picker if you don’t have permission to access their environment. This includes cases where:
- You are not the company’s sponsor
- You are not listed as one of the company’s users
- The company is experiencing subscription issues
